The Power Of Silence “Meditation”!

October 21, 2016

Imagine eating 60,000 times per day and majority of it being the same food you had yesterday. Most likely your physical body will not tolerate such an overwhelming activity. Probably eating the same food alone every day will make it very unpleasant.

Average person has about 60,000 thoughts per day and the majority of their thoughts are the same defeating ones that they had yesterday. If our body requires a rest between meal times then it would make sense to have some amount of rest time between our thought activities too.

Our major misconception is that we do not connect the signs of stress such as; depression, anxiety, fear, anger, insomnia and other signs with over activity of our thoughts.

We work very much like a magnet. The electricity that passes through our body to keep us alive creates a current through our body that develops a magnetic field around us. This magnetic field is the cause of attraction or repellent of our experiences with others, animals, nature and the universe.

If we throw 10 magnets on the floor, a few of them attract and the others repel each other based on how their polarities had approached each other as they got close within a certain range. In a way; the two cars having an accident in an intersection when the other 20 cars had passed by is not as random as it may appear.

Our thoughts have direct access to change this polarity by being parallel and harmonious with the universal flow of love and compassion or opposing it. This magnetic field’s interpretation present itself internally as our state of health and externally as how we experience different events.

We can deliberately accomplish all the things that we desire and have experiences that are more conducive to our desires by being deliberate creators versus living in a world of creation by default.

The first step in accomplishing the above is to manage our thoughts by way of slowing them down so we can monitor, detect and analyze them.  Meditation is the best process that can accomplish all of that in addition to maximizing our universal default energy flow due to elimination of resistive thoughts. Also mediation can be qualified as a compass that allows us to evaluate our direction before we become obsessed by how fast we can proceed. What is it good for if we are driving very fast but we are heading in the wrong direction.

There are many different methods of Mediation however we must recognize that more procedures about how to relax may become stressful and counterproductive.

  • Preparation: Comfortable environment and position without distraction & with proper rhythmic breathing
  • Meditation for Destress and relaxation: Start from the toes up the body in small sections. By each breath bring in new vital energy and exhale discharging any stress from that part of the body to the universe.
  • Meditation for Purification: Light a candle about 2 feet in front of your eyes at eye levels. Open your eyes a little more than comfortable and gaze at the hole at the bottom of the flame. Do not blink and maintain this position. Allow the impurities of your eyes to drop down as tears (do not rub them). As soon as you blink, stop and wash off the tears. Let any thoughts that come up during this process to pass through without holding on to them appearing as they are discharging from your head to the universe or through your tears.
  • Meditation for appreciation: The state of appreciation is our default state where we cease to be superior or inferior and simply are present. Quietly, simply and humbly thank that universal energy that beats your heart for all the events of your hour, day, month, year(s) or any special occasions. Recognize that the universe’s default is always well regardless of how you may interpret it at that time and offer thanks for each experience. Find something positive about each event as you go through them.
  • Meditation for manifestation: Close your eyes and draw a large imaginary circle a few feet in front of you.

Put a single thought of what you desire in the center of the circle. Move any other distracting thought to the outside the circle as they come up by keeping your focus on the single thought inside the circle. Also, this can be enhanced by energy flow of breathing through 2nd chakra up to 6th chakra projecting it to the center of the circle as you exhale.
