War Or A Cup Of Tea?

February 17, 2017

This is dedicated to my 9 year old son ”Ayden” who suggested this a few weeks ago.

He was sitting reading his children’s book next to me, when I was writing one of my posts. He quietly said; “Dad, war is sad, you should write about it”. I said; I agree. What should we call it. He said; “ War or a cup of tea”.

Since I truly believe that children are our true teachers. I immediately became quiet to tap into his unpolluted wisdom. He continued about his book which was about a village that somehow some of the natives were turning to werewolves and the rest of the villagers were preparing themselves for a war with their old friends.

At the same time, the rest of the villagers were looking for solutions to bring peace to the village and aggressively were focusing to have peace. Although some of the villagers had turned to be werewolves physically the other villagers who were seeking war had become even worse with their attitudes. The villagers who were looking for peace finally succeeded in finding an herb that drinking its tea made the werewolves back to what they were before and the angry people who were seeking war back to be nice again.

So a cup of tea avoided the war. What a great concept!!.

Well, this cup of tea is available to all of us, all we need to do is to look for it inside, like the pearl that is hidden inside the shell. Close your eyes and point to yourself. Over the years that I have asked this question from different people, I have never seen anyone pointing to any other part of themselves other than their heart. Simply because we energetically know the tea is hidden inside our heart.

The 4th heart chakra energy with its green color and its function to only love is the herb that makes the tea with love and compassion guiding us to look for all other options other than war. Compassion is when left and right brain come together to stop all judgements as we feel the pain of others as ourselves. This allows the heart energy to radiate out as intended by the universe without obstruction of our brain made ego. One may ask, how could you possibly hurt others if you feel their pain as your own?

The studies that have been done by Heart-Math institute as well as others have shown that heart frequencies are several times stronger than our brain. They placed a boy and his dog in two separate rooms and monitored their heart beats. They each had different heart beats. They brought the dog to the room and as soon as the two of them saw each other their heart frequencies harmonized and synched to have the same peak and valleys like beating as one. Amazing that love heals all wars and when the focus is on peace there is no room left for entertaining anything else.

Lao Tzu said: ”The slaying of multitudes should be mourned with sorrow. A victory should be celebrated with the funeral rite”. There is no victory in oppression toward others regardless of who is succeeding since all post trauma war studies have shown that all are wounded when exposed to horror of war regardless of what happens to their bodies and which side they represented. Historically, most wars have been in the name of maintaining peace and order against aggressors but Jumping out of a plane and thinking afterward about a missing parachute may be too late for action. Peace must arise at every step we take and can not be a destination.
