The Castle Of “Silence”!

March 23, 2017

Many of us run aggressively toward our goals. We make many sacrifices. We accept no excuses. We accomplish what is intended in order to get to that goal and run faster and faster at all costs and take pride in how fast we run. It is undisputable that setting goals and accomplishing them are the most pleasurable experiences however when this running is no longer joyful and is stressful then we need to stop and ask; are we running toward a desired goal or are we running away from something that is undesirable behind us that we fear it will destroy us if we stop to face it.

The running away may be to avoid something or to forget about a tragedy or simply may be not having found a meaning in our daily life. Regardless of what makes us to run, it misleads us by changing our attention toward a temporary solution. We eventually accomplish that goal and since it was not the right reason to begin with, we find ourselves having the need to run again by finding another excuse and a new target as a new goal without enjoyment. This eventually stops as we become so exhausted in this unpleasant experience that we can no longer continue and we look for a true target that makes us joyful unconditionally.

How can we detect this so we can take action to redirect our path?

When you can be silent and have no need to run away from anything you recognize the beauty and pleasure of wanting to run toward something that you truly desire freely. Listen to the sound of “SILENCE”, it has a music that is indescribable. It has the answer to all the questions, it is the absolute solution since once it is divided, it will still be silence and it will never diminish.

“In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolve itself into crystal clearness. Our life is a long and arduous quest after truth.” (By M. Gandhi)

How do we find silence when we have been trained to always do something and be busy?

The best practice is to have certain deliberate periods of mental fasting every day by quieting down our brain and not allowing it to have any thoughts regardless of how positive or negative it may be. This can be done sitting down comfortably in meditation or in any position at any time.

Another method of energy clearing is to close your eyes and to Imagine a white light behind you. The white light projects from behind through you forward and shines through your entire body clearing your body from any discomfort. Scan the light behind you up and down your body from top down. Eventually focus at your head level and allow it to clear your head and any undesired thoughts as it projects through your head pushing all thoughts outside your body as they fade away disappearing in front of you. After a while, it will feel as your body is a hologram with the white light passing completely through it with leaving no shadows.

The Trinity of Happiness – Upon awakening; affirm that ‘This is the best day of my life’ . During the day; ‘find a short period of silence without having any thoughts”. Prior to sleeping at night; ‘Thank that source that has made it all possible, for the daily experience that you had and all that you had learned. “ (By A.A. – The Voice Within)
